The Women's Partnership WP_image_round

Where Thought and Action Lead to Passion and Purpose

The YWCA Women's Partnership is developing a community home for women to grow and give. The four pillars of focus – personal and professional growth, volunteerism and philanthropy, civic engagement and advocacy, and health and well being – are developed through weekend retreats scheduled seasonally as well as services, resources and activities offered at the YWCA’s Women’s Center, including volunteer opportunities, career development guidance, conferences, skill-building classes, lecture series, events and more. The Women’s Partnership’s 2011 Spring Series successfully launched program activities in Year One with three weekend retreats that explored opportunities for involvement in public affairs, civically engaged reading and personal writing. Receiving 5 out of 5 scoring from participants, Year Two plans include seven weekend retreats and the start of unique and innovative programming at the YWCA’s new Women’s Center.
