In partnership with the Westside Food Bank, GIA girls comb neighborhoods asking local businesses and residents for donations of non-perishable food items to help families in need. Using bags donated by Trader Joes, they collected over 500 pounds of food for the Westside Food Bank. GIA girls were very excited about their experience and asked to volunteer again, so in July 2009, they returned to the Westside Food Bank to help out in their distribution warehouse
